New construction of a driving silo - AgrarElast
BT successfully launched a new product for sealing driving silos in August 2019. The new joint sealant AgrarElast can be used to renovate and repair agriculturally managed JGS plants and biogas plants as well as to seal joints in new buildings, e.g. driving silos, fermentation feed silos and solid manure plates. The sealant and the associated primer A(sphalt) and primer B(eton) are approved by the German Institute for Building Technology under the number Z 74.62-176. All joint combinations between concrete and asphalt can be sealed with AgrarElast.
For the new construction of an agricultural silo on a farm in Waging in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein, A-elements were used as angle supports. After setting the angular supports, the joints were sealed with the AgrarElast system. The AgrarElast was easy, quick and safe to process.
