Personal and professional development

We encourage professional and personal development of our employees in a focused way. In doing so, we try to consider the individual wishes of each employee in order to optimally qualify them for their desired positions and to assign them to tasks according to their strengths. In order to ensure continuous development, we hold staff development meetings once a year. Our managers, too, strive for continuous development in our leadership workshop.

Diversity

We have welcomed diverse cultures, languages, etc. for many years and stand for diversity, equality and tolerance. We promote a climate in which discrimination based on stereotypes has no place, in which cultural, religious and gender-neutral openness is encouraged among our employees and in which every team member is valued and can grow personally.

As a medium-sized company, we enable short decision-making processes with the help of flat hierarchies. We have a familiar working atmosphere and the opportunity to work together with different cultures.

A mixed age structure offers the possibility of a sound exchange of experience and knowledge. Our goal is to use the diversity that exists in our company profitably for everyone and to learn from each other. Here you will find the voices of our employees.

Our team consists of over 50 highly qualified and experienced employees. We are particularly proud of:

Corporate Social Responsibility

We take our social responsibility very seriously. By supporting gifted students, we support our skilled workers of tomorrow through the Deutschlandstipendium in partnership with the Magdeburg Stendal University of Applied Sciences.

Internationally, we want to offer support for fast-growing, poor sections of the population who need high-quality housing with our Low-Cost House.

Our owner is also involved in various networks such as Rotary International, a worldwide association of business professionals. Its members are expected to demonstrate outstanding professional performance, personal integrity, a cosmopolitan attitude and a willingness to engage in community service. Tolerance towards all people, religions, lifestyles and democratic parties is a top priority for Rotarians.

True to the motto "Only those who get opportunities can seize opportunities", we strive to and are interested in offering young people the chance of a professional future within the framework of an internship, part-time student work, practical vocational training, dual studies or a thesis.

Company health management

In the area of workplace health management, we cooperate with a health insurance company and offer various services in house such as: Back training & sports courses, anti-stress seminars and relaxation courses.

In addition, we have a company health insurance policy for our employees with insurance cover without a preliminary examination or health check. The insurance we offer is similar in character to private health insurance with various additional benefits such as:

  • Health check-ups
  • Dental treatment / dental prophylaxis / dentures
  • Vision care

The statutory pension alone will soon no longer be sufficient to secure the standard of living in old age. That is why we strive to provide additional benefits: After three years of employment, all permanent staff* receive a company pension, which is financed by the employer. We offer weekly employer-funded massages and quarterly chiropractor treatments for our employees.

We also provide a complimentary selection of fruits on a regular basis, because we are aware that only healthy employees can make a positive contribution to the success of the company. Our employees are also provided with a variety of hot beverages at no extra cost.

Company headquarters

Modern workplace furnishings and equipment including high ergonomic standards such as height-adjustable tables and chairs. We guarantee a pleasant indoor climate all year round with our system of thermal component activation (room heating or cooling through the ceiling). In addition, our modern office building is equipped with large windows and an automated ‘Easy-Shadow’ system, which ensures optimal room lighting according to actual lighting conditions. The fitness and massage rooms are regularly used for our balanced relaxation and fitness programme. For the daily commute to work, car parking spaces are available for all employees on our company premises, as well as a covered parking area for bicycles.

 

Company events

Through regular company events such as participation in the company relay race including running training, Christmas party, summer party with family and friends and team events, we like to promote the spirit of community in the workforce.

 

Work-life balance

We understand the private concerns of our employees and act flexibly when there is a need for action. We also have various work-time models that allow us to use flexible working hours and work from home when necessary.

Paid time off for personal occasions such as childbirth or weddings as well as small gifts for special events are standard for us.

Vision 2030

In order to offer the 75 employees of our group of companies a perspective for the next 30 years, we have formulated a corporate strategy until 2030 in order to define the guidelines for long-term development. The core of this strategy is to establish system solutions on the market that will further promote modular construction and to continue to respond to customer needs with innovative solutions.
