A company from North Rhine-Westphalia opts for magnet and formwork systems from BT innovation
BETONT GmbH, based in Halle (Westphalia), specialises in the production of aesthetic and handmade design elements made of concrete. The production of the prefabricated concrete elements is carried out using modern equipment and technologies, whereby standard productions and also custom-made products are manufactured in the highest quality and with a great deal of expertise.
BETONT GmbH was looking for a way to make forming in the precast factory easier and to save time in the execution of their demanding projects. The decision was made in favour of the BT formwork system. This system is the ideal marriage of the MagFly® AP formwork magnet with the MultiForm formwork beam. This formwork system is enhanced by an assortment of tie bar magnets, PE triangular bars and BT magnetic stands.
Since this transition, BETONT GmbH has been working exclusively with magnet and formwork systems from BT innovation and is very satisfied with the manageability and light weight of the magnets. The BT formwork system enables quick and easy shuttering of precast concrete elements. The MagFly® AP is ideally suited for use in the precast concrete plant due to its excellent magnetic holding force and low weight. Its patented foot/spring system allows the magnet to glide effortlessly over the shuttering table when required. As a result, the MagFly® AP offers flexible positioning of compatible formwork beams, such as MultiForm formwork, during production preparation.
It is only when the MagFly® AP magnets are engaged that the MultiForm is fixed to the shuttering table. By attaching a PE triangular strip to the formwork board, the joint between the formwork table and the formwork board is sealed immediately once the magnet is activated. Subsequent sealing with silicone is thus not necessary and "bleeding" of the concrete is prevented. In addition, the formwork height of MultiForm formwork can be adjusted as required by means of exchangeable formwork boards.
The BT Schalungssystem convinced BETONT GmbH above all by its flexibility in positioning the magnets and by the fact that the distance between the magnets can be determined by oneself. The system proved to be very effective due to its low weight as well as the advantages in shuttering, stripping and storing the magnets in the BT magnet stand.
